About the role : We’re looking for a Product Excellence Lead to set the standard for how Mastercard develops, launches, and commercializes products in Latin America. This is a high-visibility, strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of execution discipline and executive influence. You’ll be the guardian of readiness and speed, orchestrating cross-functional teams across the entire product lifecycle, and the regional voice in global product forums to ensure Latin America’s priorities shape Mastercard’s global roadmap.
What You’ll Do
- Run the Lifecycle – Own the process from concept to commercialization, empowered to recommend “go” or “not yet” at every stage.
- Influence and Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Partner across sales, product, legal, and delivery to line up pilots, capture structured feedback, and drive accountability.
- Give Executives Clarity – Manage the product portfolio view, turning data into insights that enable faster, smarter decisions.
- Be the Regional Voice – Represent Latin America in global governance, embedding local realities into global processes.
- Continuously Raise the Bar – Identify bottlenecks, redesign processes, and push the region to move faster and better.
Qualifications
7+ years in product management, program management, PMO, or consulting in financial services, tech, or related industries.Proven track record leading complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple markets.Strong analytical skills to translate customer and market insights into business outcomes.Skilled at influencing senior executives through clear, data-driven recommendations.Highly organized with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience working with global and regional / local product teams.Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.Corporate Security Responsibility
