BraveUS BPO is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Finance Analyst to support the development and execution of financial initiatives across our marine operations and corporate functions. This role provides critical insights and reporting that drive executive decision-making, including direct support for the COO and close collaboration with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and KPI reporting frameworks.
- Prepare reports for private-equity shareholders as requested.
- Generate volume, revenue, and EBITDA forecasts based on operational activity.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare Monthly Operating Review (MOR) and Board-level reports.
- Support the Financial Planning Process (FPP) through modeling and reporting.
- Perform other duties related to or complementary to the position, as assigned by the employer or immediate supervisor.
Strategic Modeling & Planning
Model capital expenditure (Capex) and cost-saving initiatives.Support commercial growth through contract modeling and initiative tracking.Coordinate and track 100-day plans and strategic initiatives.Analyze and plan for Shared Services across offshore operations.M&A and Joint Ventures
Conduct market research and data analysis for potential M&A targets.Model financial impacts of M&A activity and assist in integration planning.Support reporting and system integration for acquired companies.Operational & Commercial Support
Collaborate closely with operational teams to assess operational metrics and performance.Evaluate commercial contracts and participate in customer meetings.Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by the COO’s office.Skills & Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in marine, transportation, or logistics sectors.Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, including ROI and IRR calculations.Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable solutions to operations teams.Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.MBA or CPA is a plus.Technical & Soft Skills
Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and Power BI is beneficial.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.Operational focus with the ability to work independently or within a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Additional Requirements
This is an in-office position based in Bogota; candidates must work on-site during standard business hours.Occasional travel to company terminals, project sites, or customer locations across the U.S., sometimes on short notice.Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) to access secure maritime facilities.Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally walk through industrial or marine environments (including climbing stairs or navigating uneven surfaces).Why Join Us
