Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the global Cyber Threat Intelligence function ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed and or delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures .

Accountabilities

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Able to conduct research and analysis of emerging cyber security threats and assess the potential impact to the Bank.
• Maintain general awareness of threat landscape in LATAM countries
• Providing Spanish proficiency in LATAM focused reporting and presentations
• Strive in creating quality technical papers documenting security threats, risks, and mitigation techniques.
• Proficient in communicating situational awareness and technical intelligence to internal and external stakeholders and trusted partners.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporate into in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his / her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML AFT sanctions and conduct risk.
