Overview

IT Security Consultant (Hybrid position) – Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.

The role focuses on continuously improving the design of IT Security tools, Endpoint Protection, Network Security, log collection and analysis, and related technologies within Eurofins Security Operations. It is a hands-on position that requires a can-do attitude and close collaboration with operations, infrastructure, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the continuous improvement of existing endpoint security solutions and log collection / treatment tools in accordance with internal policies.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot these security solutions.
• Manage policies and software deployment for these solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot crucial elements of the Eurofins global IT infrastructure.
• Approach problems with a project-oriented mindset, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and support resolutions.
• Provide technical support for Priority 1 incidents and address performance issues related to these solutions.
