What You Will Do

As a Sourcing Manager, NA Chemicals and APIs, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the sourcing strategy for the company's raw material chemicals. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of key raw materials while driving cost savings, mitigating supply chain risks, and fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing Strategy Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw material chemicals.
• Supplier Management Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers across regions, ensuring reliable supply chains and competitive pricing.
• Cost Optimization And Risk Mitigation Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs, improve product quality, and streamline the procurement process for raw materials.
• Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability and seamless integration into production processes. Work with the finance team to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budgeting for raw material procurement. Coordinate with regulatory and legal teams to ensure compliance.
• Market Intelligence And Reporting Stay informed on market conditions, emerging trends, and new technologies in the raw materials chemical market. Provide regular reporting on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market trends to senior management. Use data analytics to assess supplier performance, track savings, and improve sourcing decisions.
