We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Legal Officer to join our dynamic and international legal team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with strong expertise in labor, corporate, and commercial law, particularly in Latin American (LATAM) jurisdictions. You will advise on legal matters across multiple countries, ensure compliance, and support strategic business decisions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on labor law matters across LATAM, including complex employee relations, disciplinary processes, terminations, and employment contract negotiations.
- Draft, review, and update employment agreements, corporate policies, and internal procedures in accordance with local legal requirements.
- Monitor and analyze changes in labor, corporate, and commercial legislation; communicate implications to relevant stakeholders proactively.
- Advise on cross-border employment issues, including expatriation processes and international assignments.
- Review, draft, and support the negotiation of commercial agreements to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for specialized legal matters when necessary.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops for HR and management teams on relevant legal topics.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Law.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in labor, corporate, and commercial law, with a strong focus on LATAM jurisdictions.Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and provide actionable legal guidance.Solid experience in contract negotiation and review (employment and commercial).Strong communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills.Capable of working both independently and as part of a multicultural, international team.Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English – both written and spoken (mandatory).What we offer
