This role is adecuado for experienced network engineers who are passionate about solution validation, customer success, and advanced enterprise networking technologies.As a Consulting Engineer, you will work directly with enterprise and service provider customers to validate complex network solutions, support new technology adoption, and ensure successful implementation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test environments, execute validation plans, and deliver high-quality results.Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute solution validation projects for enterprise and service provider customers.- Build and manage lab environments to test Cisco and third-party networking solutions.- Design, execute, and document test plans based on customer requirements.- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve them.- Assist customers in adopting new platforms and technologies efficiently.- Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery architects on strategic initiatives.- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and technical excellence.Minimum Qualifications- 3 to 8 years of experience in enterprise or service provider networking.- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching platforms (Catalyst, ASR, ISR, IOS-XE, IOS-XR).- Solid understanding of L2 / L3 networking, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs (IPsec, DMVPN).- Experience in network validation, lab testing, or proof-of-concept environments.- Basic scripting / programming knowledge (Python preferred).- Familiarity with APIs, data models (YANG), and automation frameworks.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).Preferred Qualifications- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.- Experience with testing tools like Spirent or Ixia.- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and data formats (JSON, YAML).- Background in large-scale enterprise network deployments.- Experience with Cisco monitoring and network management solutions.- Previous customer-facing experience in technical support or consulting roles.Job Types : Full-time, ContractApplication Question(s) : - How many years of experience in enterprise or service provider networking do you have?- Do you have strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching platforms?- Do you have solid understanding of L2 / L3 networking?- Do you have experience in network validation, lab testing, or proof-of-concept environments?- Do you have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field?Language : - English (Required)
