Job Title : Country Manager – Colombia
Overview

CFI is hiring to expand in the online trading industry. The Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager with a passion for Business Development to lead CFI’s growth in Colombia. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the forex and trading industry, a proven track record of establishing and growing businesses, and a comprehensive understanding of the local regulatory and compliance framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to launch and grow the company / 's presence in Colombia.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up to date with industry trends and developments.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, marketing agencies, payment service providers, operational vendors and other industry players.
- Identify and evaluate potential partners, clients, and investors to expand the company / 's customer base and revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the global team to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives and strategies.
- Monitor and analyse business performance metrics, including sales, revenue, and profitability, and develop and execute plans to address any areas of concern.
- Build and lead a high-performance local team, including recruiting, training, and motivating staff members to achieve business targets.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other relevant forums.
Requirements
Bachelor / 's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in the forex and trading industry, with a proven track record of establishing and growing new business units.Excellent knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.Detailed understanding of the local market, including key competitors, marketing and sales strategies, payments landscape, pricing and client product and platform expectations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Ability to analyse business performance metrics and develop and execute effective strategies to address areas of concern.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve business targets.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.Fluency in both written and spoken English and the local language is essential.Why join CFI?
