Job Description : Software QA / QC Engineer (Consultant)

About the Role

IANS is looking for a QA / QC Engineer Consultant to help us strengthen quality across our applications. You’ll lead the setup of automated and manual testing for web apps and APIs built in Next.js, Node.js, .NET (C#), and Python, deployed on Azure with GitHub CI / CD. This is a one-year, full-time consulting engagement with the possibility of extension.

What You’ll Do

• Build and run automated tests (frontend, backend, and APIs).
• Set up smoke and regression suites in CI / CD pipelines.
• Expand coverage for key user journeys and critical services.
• Partner with engineers to add unit and integration tests.
• Drive defect triage and release readiness reporting.
• Support performance and accessibility testing as needed.
