Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our North American accounts receivable team. This role requires strong communication in English, client‑facing experience, and a dedication to maintaining a healthy client portfolio.

- Independently manage a portfolio of accounts on a month‑over‑month basis to minimize delinquency and achieve management targets
- Contact customers via phone and e‑mail regarding open invoices and billing disputes
- Identify issues causing delay in payment and document calls in Oracle
- Maintain partnership with District, Area, Division and Corporate teams
- Escalate collection issues to Supervisor or Director when necessary
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of collections systems and policies
- Perform collections projects as directed by management
- Challenge yourself to raise the bar for excellence in customer service and collections
Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage accounts, achieving delinquency rate reduction and target cash‑flow resultsContact customers by phone and e‑mail regarding open invoices and billing disputesIdentify payment delays, document notes accurately in Oracle, and resolve collection issuesCollaborate with District, Area, Division, and Corporate teams to drive continuous improvementEscalate complex cases to supervisors or directors as requiredImplement collections methodology in accordance with Iron Mountain policy and proceduresRequirements
Degree in Business or FinanceStrong desire to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDetail‑oriented with strong typing abilitiesProblem‑solving skills and independent judgmentPrevious call center or collections experience (required)Clear criminal reference check (required)Iron Mountain is committed to equal employment opportunity.
