8 hrs / day, 40 hrs / week
Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm PST Oakland, CA time
Client is a founder-led video-production and creative-storytelling studio headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and serving clients worldwide. We help brands—from scrappy startups to global manufacturers—translate complex ideas into cinematic visuals that captivate audiences and move markets.
Position Summary
We’re looking for a self-motivated Sales Representative to build and manage a steady stream of qualified leads. You’ll own outbound outreach (Email, LinkedIn, cold calls), nurture warm inbound inquiries, and keep our CRM updated. While familiarity with video- or creative-agency sales is a plus, what matters most is your track record of generating business for small, founder-run companies and your creativity in uncovering hard-to-reach prospects.
Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and compile target lists across manufacturing, tech, construction, and other sectors.
- Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Listkit, and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to uncover decision-makers.
- Hunt in social spaces—LinkedIn groups, industry forums, communities, X / Twitter threads—to spot conversations that signal buying intent.
- Personalize cold emails, call scripts, and LinkedIn messages that convert curiosity into booked discovery calls.
Pipeline Management
Log and track every touchpoint in our CRM (HubSpot).Maintain clear next steps and follow-up cadences so no opportunity slips through the cracks.Report weekly on outreach volume, meetings set, and stage progression.Discovery & Qualification
Conduct initial calls to understand the prospect’s marketing goals, budgets, and timelines.Capture detailed notes for hand-off to the founder / EP and production team.Proposal Collaboration
Coordinate with the creative team to assemble scope and pricing decks.Ensure proposals address stated pain points and align with Elewa’s capabilities.Schedule proposal walk-throughs between the prospect and our leadership team.Market Intelligence
Monitor trends in video marketing, creative services, and AI-driven production workflows.Share insights that inform our positioning, outreach messaging, and service offerings.Requirements
3+ years in B2B sales, SDR / BDR, or agency new-business roles (small-business or founder-led environments strongly preferred).Proven ability to hit or exceed activity KPIs—high-volume outbound tempered by high-quality personalization.Mastery of email sequencing, cold-calling frameworks, and LinkedIn social selling, with a knack for discovering leads in less obvious social channels (niche groups, community forums, virtual events).Comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, and AI prospecting / copilot tools to work smarter and faster.Creative, independent lead-finder who invents new ways to surface decision-makers and spark conversations.Organized self-starter who thrives in a remote setting with minimal oversight.Polished communicator—concise, persuasive writing and confident on the phone or video calls.Nice to have : experience selling video production, creative services, or marketing solutions.Success Indicators
Build a 300-account target list segmented by ideal-client profile.Consistently book 8–10 qualified discovery calls per month.Achieve a 30 % meeting-to-proposal conversion rate.Maintain CRM hygiene with 100 % of contacts and activities logged.Provide monthly insights that lead to at least one new outreach experiment (e.g., industry-specific sequences, ABM microsites, AI-generated video teasers).Independent Contractor Perks
