Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a finance team overseeing accounting operations for US-based businesses. This role is ideal for professionals who have managed the full accounting cycle, led month-end close processes, owned financial reporting, and mentored accounting teams. Candidates with experience as Accounting Managers, Assistant Controllers, or Senior Accountants stepping into leadership are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end accounting function for one or multiple US entities/clients Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed assets Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP implementations Mentor accounting team members and review their work Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 6–8+ years of accounting and finance experience, including significant US exposure Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing the complete month-end and year-end close process Team leadership or people management experience Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders Preferred Experience CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification Multi-entity or multi-client accounting experience Experience in SaaS, professional services, or growth-stage businesses ERP implementation or migration experience Technical Skills QuickBooks Online/Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or Xero Microsoft Excel (Advanced); Power BI or reporting tools preferred What We're Looking For Strong ownership mentality with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Client-first mindset with exceptional communication abilities Nice to Have Experience supporting private equity-backed or high-growth businesses Exposure to KPI reporting, board reporting, and strategic finance initiatives Experience Preferred: 6–8+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
