Site Electrical & Grid Connection Lead

AECOM is seeking an Site Electrical & Grid Connection Lead with proven expertise in the Colombian renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Oversee electrical design manage grid connection compliance supervise site installation and support testing and commissioning.
• Drive electrical design validation ensure grid compliance direct site construction and assist with testing and commissioning.
• Handle electrical design verification grid code compliance construction supervision and system commissioning support.
• Ensure electrical design and installation strictly align with local regulatory codes and international standards (IEC IEEE NEC).

Qualifications :

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in power systems or electrical infrastructure.
• Successful delivery of design evaluation technical auditing or commissioning oversight across at least 3 utility-scale PV projects and 2 high/medium-voltage substations or transmission lines (34.5 kV).
• Fluent level of English written and spoken
