Counsel [Fixed-Term] (HYBRID) | COLOMBIA Full-Time Bogota, Cundinamarca, CO 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1215 PURPOSE: Responsible for drafting legal documents, contracts, as well as providing assistance for all PTI internal areas within a reasonable time frame, maintaining the Legal Files and other legal work that may be assigned. FUNCTIONS: Draft documents such as:Lease Agreements, Agreements with contractors, Fee Simple purchase agreements of real estate, Usufruct Agreements. Prepares and review Contracts and assist in all legal matters. Assists the departments of Asset Management and Lease Administration with legal advice and documents that are required. Support in registration of documents in all public registries. Prepares Tracker and requested reports. Maintains the legal file of the company. Prepares site reports, letters of intent, contracts, and other related legal documents. Obtaining, certificates and permits, as well as those issued by the Environmental, Municipal authorities (construction and closing), Aeronautics (height and safety of telecommunication towers), firemen, etc. Performs notarial and registry procedures. Represents the company before administrative process in the municipalities. Exercise other duties or functions as required in the capacity of Attorney to the company. These job functions are representative of tasks accomplished by incumbents. The list is not exhaustive; incumbents perform other related tasks. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position works in a standard office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking are required daily. Job will involve minimal international travel. QUALIFICATIONS: Have a valid and current legal title issued by the competent authority. At least 2-4 years of experience and practice of the profession in real estate law, administrative processes. Knowledge in telecommunications is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish and English fluent both written and spoken) is preferred. Have organizational skills. Knowledge of local regulations. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Availability to respond to extemporaneous and extraordinary requests. Ability to work under pressure. Availability to travel within the territory.
