A Day in the Life

The Principal IT Business Analyst for PROS and Conga CPQ serves as the strategic interface between business partners and IT, providing leadership in business analysis, solution design, and ongoing support for complex CPQ platforms. This individual will act as a recognized expert in CPQ processes, drive high-impact initiatives across Sales, Pricing, Legal, and IT, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions are delivered in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead analyst and subject matter expert for PROS and Conga CPQ platforms.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Pricing, Legal, IT) to understand strategic objectives and translate them into business and technical requirements.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions and document use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Define and manage end-to-end solution design and process improvements, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT architecture.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and system integrators during build and deployment to ensure solution integrity.
• Lead and coordinate system demos, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and end-user training to support successful adoption.
• Act as the escalation point for complex production issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify automation opportunities across the CPQ ecosystem.
• Stay current with CPQ platform trends and advise on capabilities and features to enhance business performance.
