Overview

Head of Technology, Continuous Delivery — Apply Digital. Latin America is preferred, with hybrid / remote-friendly arrangements. The role leads a cross-functional delivery organization and champions AI enablement, secure software development, agile methodologies, automation, and shift-left strategies across global delivery teams.

Location & Role Details

LOCATION : Apply Digital is hybrid / remote-friendly. The candidate should be based in Latin America, preferably aligned to PT or ET time zones. Santiago, Chile-based candidates may work from the Santiago office as remote / hybrid employees. Other candidates are fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Practice Leadership & Oversight : Oversee and guide the work of DevOps Engineers, QA Analysts and QA Engineers, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Direct leadership within North America with alignment to global delivery teams in Latin America, India, and Europe.
• Practice Growth : Promote Continuous Delivery as a service offering. Collaborate with pitch teams to develop estimates, scope projects, and resource team members. Work with business development and client services to articulate value and staff to meet demand.
• Best Practices : Champion AI enablement of teams, AI engineering, continuous delivery, QA, DevOps, and security compliance. Review CI / CD pipelines and SDLC processes for security standards and automated quality checks. Set standards for other tech teams and translate security standards into delivery processes with client accounts.
• Mentorship & Team Collaboration : Develop expertise within the broader technology team delivering digital solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals. Manage multiple delivery squads and ensure deadlines and dependencies are managed.
• Client & Business Management : Provide expert advice and nurture relationships with stakeholders. Identify growth within projects and deliver business value for client and company.
• Risk Management & Process Improvement : Identify, prevent, and mitigate risks; escalate issues to executive leadership as needed.
• Thought Leadership : Position the consultancy as a leader in software delivery, modernizing project delivery, and related trends.
