Overview
Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director BRM Financial Institutions based out of the Bogota, Colombia office. This role is part of the Financial Institutions (FI) Business Relationship Management (BRM) group in Bogota, responsible for relationship management of FI clients (banks, insurance companies, non-bank financial institutions, funds and asset managers) and business development of new issuers in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Central America. The FI Head will provide tactical and strategic business support to the wider FI Regional BRM Group. This is a client-facing, relationship management and sales role.

How You’ll Make An Impact
We are seeking an experienced DCM relationship and new business manager for the FI BRM team based in Bogota. As part of the BRM group, this role involves maintaining existing relationships and originating new business opportunities by developing and executing retention and marketing strategies for a sizeable portfolio of FI issuers in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Central America. Depending on experience, there may be regional coordination responsibilities for one of the sectors.

From the outset, you will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy and responsibility, with opportunities for self- and career development. Travel may be required, primarily in-country. Knowledge of FI business and FI operating environment, as well as Debt Capital Markets, is preferred. Understanding of credit analysis is advantageous. Strong communication skills at the C-suite level and commercial, interpersonal abilities are essential.
