Senior HR Business Partner - LATAM
Nalanda is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Business Partner to join our People team and support our operations in Colombia and LATAM. Reporting to Head of People & Culture in Spain. This is a non-managerial role but will be key in providing both strategic and operational HR partnership to business leaders and employees.
The role requires strong knowledge of Colombian labor law and general understanding of HR compliance across LATAM countries. You will work closely with stakeholders in Colombia and collaborate with People leaders based in Spain, UK and France ensuring alignment with global People strategies and local best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to HR partner for LATAM teams, supporting managers and employees across all people-related matters.
- Ensure full compliance with Colombian labor law and coordinate with legal advisors when needed.
- Implement global HR policies and frameworks locally, adapting them to cultural and regulatory specifics.
- Support the employee lifecycle : onboarding, organizational changes, performance management, offboarding, etc.
- Partner with business leaders to identify people needs and offer HR solutions that drive engagement and performance.
- Lead and support core HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, internal mobility, and development planning.
- Contribute to global People projects related to culture, wellbeing, and talent development.
- Maintain up-to-date and auditable HR documentation and records in the region.

Minimum 6 years’ experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.Strong knowledge of Colombian labor law and general HR practices in LATAM.Experience in international and matrix organizations.Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong ability to work independently, manage complexity, and prioritize effectively.Experience working with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or equivalent (desirable).Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for decision-making.50% of the time you will be travelling between Medellin and Bogota.What we offer
