Customer Success Manager
PDG Media is a digital marketing & revenue growth agency focused on helping F&B brands grow through digital marketing campaigns across SEO, website design, social media, and email marketing. We are seeking a Customer Success Manager with technical expertise to bridge our agency operations team and commercial department. You will engage with clients, manage multiple accounts, and grow your technical knowledge in email marketing. For new prospects, you will act as the marketing expert; for existing clients, you will own relationships for their email marketing campaigns, report performance, adjust audiences, and identify upsell opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who can speak confidently about a range of digital marketing disciplines and support a commercial mindset with opportunities for commission based on extensions, renewals, and upsell opportunities. Our team is predominantly remote and global, and you will be working predominantly on US East Coast time or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with the sales team to help close new deals
- Keep existing clients informed on their campaigns, and ensure they are happy with the results
- Manage client & internal email marketing campaigns via Instantly & Apollo
- Join meetings with engaged prospects to serve as the “technical expert”
- Speak confidently about our entire range of digital marketing products & services
- Identify areas to upsell existing clients, and convert accordingly
- Manage renewals and extensions for email marketing clients
- Work with external agencies to constantly update our database
- Monitor mailbox deliverability across our entire portfolio
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a client-facing role within a marketing agency, ideally as an Account Manager or Customer Success ManagerMinimum of 1 year of experience using a GTM / email marketing tool like Apollo, Instantly, SmartReach, Gong, or Woodpecker, with a strong understanding of how to improve metrics like reply & open ratesA track record of upselling / extending / renewing clients in an agency environmentExceptional knowledge of other digital marketing disciplines, including SEO, social media, websites / CMS, and EDMsA desire to constantly learn more about digital marketing – you should be aware of updates & trends across the industryImpeccable organisational & time management skillsExperience in the coffee and / or F&B industryExperience working in an international teamExperience in a sales / commercial roleExperience with Dripify or another automated LinkedIn marketing toolHow to apply
